MARKHAM, ON — The 10th Golden Autumn Exhibition will take place in Markham on Sunday, Sept. 13, bringing together businesses, industry professionals and community members for a day of exhibitions and forums covering real estate, finance, artificial intelligence and other business topics.
Organized by 58home.ca (房东网), the annual event has grown over the past decade from a traditional trade show into a broader business and community platform. Founder Hongwei Wang said the event has continued to expand in both size and scope while maintaining its focus on connecting businesses, service providers and consumers and providing a platform for industry and market discussions. He said confidence is particularly important at a time when the real estate sector and related industries are undergoing significant change.
The expo’s 100 booths span a wide range of industries, including real estate, property development, construction and renovation, financial services, building materials, HVAC systems, windows and smart-home technology. The event is supported by organizations including the Chinese Real Estate Association of Canada. Developers including Tridel, Remington, Graywood and Kingdom, as well as real estate brokerages and businesses serving the housing industry, are expected to participate.
One of the major additions to this year’s program is the 58AI Applications Forum, which will examine how artificial intelligence is being incorporated into day-to-day business operations.
The free public forum will feature speakers discussing AI-powered digital employees, client acquisition in real estate, social media lead generation, one-person business operations and visual content creation. Professionals from the mortgage, taxation and utility sectors will also discuss practical applications of AI in their respective fields. AI specialist Mack Chen is scheduled to deliver a keynote address examining emerging opportunities for the real estate industry. Organizers say the forum is intended to move the conversation beyond AI as a personal productivity tool and toward its practical use in business development and operations.
Several other forums will run alongside the main exhibition.
The Canada-China Alumni Business Alliance Forum will examine changes in international trade and strategies for businesses navigating a shifting economic environment. The Boya Forum, organized by the Peking University Alumni Association of Canada, will focus on the theme “Home, Love and Legacy,” with discussions covering property ownership, family law, estate planning and children’s education.
A separate real estate forum will look at housing market trends, policies related to multi-unit residential conversions and secondary suites, and property management. The Chinese Financial Circle Autumn Forum will bring together lawyers, accountants and investment professionals for discussions on cross-border taxation, AI-related investment opportunities, wealth transfer and estate planning.
Wang said the range of forums is designed to give visitors direct access to professionals from different industries while creating opportunities for businesses and community members to exchange information in person. The event is open to homeowners, investors, business owners, industry professionals and families across the Greater Toronto Area. Admission and parking are free.
The expo will also include prize draws provided by participating vendors, with prizes ranging from coffee machines and lighting products to gas cards, wellness products and Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes.
